It's been proven time and time again. No matter how great your QB is, unless he has an equal (to him) or better D you will not win shyt period.

History has proven this.

Tom Brady won 3 rings with a top D, and now has 2 SB losses, and 2 losses as the #1 seed with a shytty D. We all know Brady today is >>>>>> Brady 01-04. The difference is his D isn't up to par and it puts to much pressure on the QB to make plays.

Peyton Mannings only SB came with his D carrying them throughout the playoffs when Manning threw 3 td's and had 7 picks. All those years he was 12-4, 13-3, 14-2, they lost as the favorite because the D let him down.

Aaron Gawdgers SB win came when his D forced a boatload of turnovers, same with Drew Brees. This year each QB's had 2 of the worse defenses in the league, and brees didn't even make the playoffs.

Big ben has 2 rings relying on his D, especially the seattle SB, and the harrison INT against the cards although he had the game winning TD pass in the end.

No matter how elite a QB if you aint got a D you aint winning shyt. Shout out to Dan Marino

Things have to break your way, they did for the 49ers and Ravens so ar and they didn't for the Broncos, Patriots, Texans, Bengals, Falcons, Packers, Vikings, Seahawks etc.

Teams gotta make the right plays in the right moments.

It doesn't help if your D(the pats) gives up 4 red zone TD's, or your D (packers) allows a 2nd year QB to run for 180 yards, or your D(Denver allows a 70 yard bomb to tie the game at the end of regulation)

The Ravens just held the highest scoring offense to 13.

The 49ers were getting torched in the first half but allowed 0 points in the second half against a great Falcons offense in their building.

Both D's stepped up when it mattered most.
