Lets compare it to hoops, you dont see Kobe just all of a sudden not able to shoot at all. Yeah you'll see the players body wear down and not be able to get as much lift anymore or get tired sooner, but never just completely do a 180.

So how the fukk does someone like wayne go from his carter II style to talkin about eating p*ssy every other bar

I dont rap so I dont get it

It is really strange, breh.

He used to spit dope ass bars like "i aint never trust a bish since she ate that forbidden fruit" :wow:

or "I save the world second, and i get high first"

now he says the same line over and over "all rats gotta die..." or "we int he building" or "beat the puzzy up like..."

I guess he is just bored. Back then he was tryna prove he's the best rapper alive and wanted to be the best.

Now he just skate, smoke and fukk and it reflects :manny:

I think

If I was a rapper I would get on my Pac shyt make tons of music while its my ''golden era''.

Sometimes rappers are in just in that zone before they lose the hunger and focus. Imagine Nas was recording extra mixtapes circa the It Was Written Era :ohlawd::ohlawd:

Early on, esp. as an aspiring rapper, the whole music world is already against you as another rapper in a sea of thousands. So you gotta separate yourself and really work to wow nikkas. But after awhile, you see what you can get away with and what you can't and adjust accordingly. Your fans stop keeping you totally honest and you realize you can wow cats with less and less effort and still get the same to more money. So you take every inch of less stress for more/equal pay you can get.
Or the producer/cats around you who were helping you with hooks, picking beats, ideas leave the picture, leaving you with some bum or yourself. Some nikkas can really pen some witty verses, but ain't got the mind for hooks, picking unique beats and/or dope concepts, which is where a producer or other artists may have came in earlier.

This. That's why we need to appreciate the MC's who have been in the game a looooong time and really haven't fell off, or haven't fell off that bad, like Nas, Ghostface, Scarface, etc. :salute: them old cats for still putting out top notch verses :blessed:

If you want to use that analogy think of the 'creativity' of a rapper the same as the legs of a basketball player.

After tons of miles have been put on a rapper they lose their 'legs'

Not only this but styles and whats "in" changes. There's no comparison in basketball the fundamentals of the game 20 years agoe are basically the same and if you ask some ppl they'd say the fundamentals of players have gotten worse. By contrast the flows, deliveries of MCs 20 yrs ago are MUCH different than today and you have to keep up in order to not be :flabbynsick:

they dont...fans do...

the fans didnt fall off after carter 3, weezy did
the fans still supported the carter iv, dedication iv, and ianhb2, just look at the numbers

those were all trash, his bars just arent the same, maybe he just doesnt care idk what it is, but you can clearly see the drop off
