After watching these 97 Raws its really hard for me to see how anyone over the age of 13 at the time picked Shawn over him

Dude was incredible
You've come around. It's a beautiful thing to see.

This interview though :lolbron: My GOAT left all fukk at the door. And he still gets called back for gigs :russ:

85 though :camby:

I think you got it backwards

When HBK became champ and Bret left the WWF it did the best business and made the most money then it did the last 6 years FACTS

Bret was a good wrestler but was boring as fuk as a character and promo

I've never heard anyone try to use drawing ability as a high point of Michaels' career. He only gets held in such high regard because of his in ring gifts. :heh:

He first got the belt at WM 12 in 96. I'm sure he did better than Yoko/Diesel, but unless you've got receipts, there's no way I will believe that he did better business than Hogan/Warrior post WM6 until the steroid scandal went down in 91/92.

hhh couldn't match bret's technical ability but he had like 10x the intensity.

i still lean towards bret but i would at least entertain the debate if someone argued for HHH.

HHH has very few moments that stand the test of time

like i said i lean towards bret but i'm not going to pretend as if hhh is eons beneath him. i would say he's like one tier under him.

hhh held his own against hbk in their programs together so i don't see why he couldn't hold his own against bret.

showtime is always lying about Michaels' drawing ability. The company improved significantly when he wasn't in the spotlight.

It was literally night and day from the moment the 3 was counted at WM14. There's NO kind of improvement that he made that can be compared to the leaps and bounds that the business jumped after he left.

The two best wrestlers from the Attitude Era, Rock and Stone Goat, wouldn't have been as big as they are if it wasn't for the realest ever.
