Grew up in a 50/50 blk, White town. Moved to atl and was out there for 5 Years. Went to an HBCU. So al I been hearing for half a decade is pro black shii and “fukk cacs”. Add in the fact I read the autobiography of Malcolm X and read random historical tidbits about how cacs been fcking is over for hundreds of years and it gets a Nikka blood boiling

Went to my bros house for the Super Bowl. Walked in that bih and it’s nothing but cacs

No biggie but I was just chillin. The convos were just different. Most of em were cool but only was of em was possibly on that

At work I’m good bc it’s only limited interactions but when you just kicking it w/em it just seems like too many differences to really connect like that

OP you are "woke" now. Your mindset now is the reason that they didn't want black folk to learn our history and to get educated.

You bow have more racial pride in being black and don't worship the white man or see them as the "standard" like alot of other blacks.

I'm in the exact same boat. Hard to interact with them for the most part. Really don't want to honestly.

I'm at my most comfortable when I'm around my own kind.

One of my co-workers had a party one time and me and one other person went over there. Dude was white but worked with a majority of Black people and played ball, so I figured he had a decent group of friends.

Party was so lame.. it was like a corporate networking event. The conversations were just god awful... mortgages, careers I text the rest of my friends heading over and told them to bail immediately. We met up at a bar and laughed about it.

As soon as I had walked into that doorI knew we fukked up.. I began a countdown timer to when we could exit. Me and my boy were like let's just stay for a bit not to be rude. I figured a half hour was respectable enough
