I mean I'm not against going out of town to see family or something like that, but what's the appeal of traveling just to travel? Never got this myself.

Fact of the matter is the world sucks, has always sucked, and probably always will regardless of where you go. Something like 80% of the world's population lives in poverty and most are in pretty shytty situations. That's especially true for black folks. And outside of that it's just same shyt different toilet. Plus, in the era of the Internet I can look up videos and pictures of almost any attraction int he world anyway.

So what's the appeal of spending a bunch of $$$ and time to sit at an airport/on an uncomfortable airplane and rent a hotel just to go see some shyt that's probably not that great anyway? Maybe I'm just a cynical person but I don't get the appeal. Most of the time I'd rather chill at the crib, watch movies and :smoker:/:drunk: rather than be stuck at somebody's airport or hotel. Any big travelers on here? If so what's the appeal?

Sounds like you ain't never had a fun holiday or a trip where you went someplace where nobody knows you and you had an adventure of sorts.

Believe it or not the act of travelling doesn't list the getting to and from part with the airports and what's not as part of the fun.

Plus you don't go to the shythole part of countries to be miserable if you can help it. Even when I was in Bosnia I had a blast kicking it with the locals that spoke English and saw that I could handle their home made Vodka and I wasn't exactly in a tourist area with modest houses, mud and farmers.

As many museums and galleries I've been to on some tourist shyt that I can't remember 'cause I didn't care much, I appreciated hearing the culture and seeing the remnants of it that stuck with me way more than watching SOMEONE ELSE detail it to me like I would.

Plus it's fun to go to different places and just be for a bit. Plus you can drink/smoke in most them places lest you Anti'social, breh. When I was in Ireland, I Prolly drank 10 imperial gallons of ale and didn't pay a scent for that shyt.

Save up, book a trip and see what the fuss is about.

It's the best thing ever :blessed:

Also depends on how you travel, I always dive in the deep end and absorb the real culture and new world. Unless purely for work for a couple of days that hotel or resort life is wack
