I dont think ive ever heard a music reason as to why people don't like Travis Scott on here

I always see people talking about his clothes, or that he's corny, or that he's a biter, etc....that he's emo or a weirdo, and honestly that might all be true IYO.

but he's not in the car with me when i'm going somewhere...and he's not next to me when i'm walking to work...


so why musically is he not praised on here? Like, if you listened to Rodeo do you really think it was garbage?

because his music is weak, scattershot and forgettable. And usually, he's the weakest parts of the songs that actually do pop. Travis imo has wasted some decent beats. Skyfall and Mamacita being some of them. Off top, I couldn't tell you a damn thing he ever said on it or even how he sounded riding it. I just know that I'm not a fan of his delivery and overall flow. He's that forgettable.

sonically his music is on point and sounds great, but is it his music? i think that's why people see through him/hate most of the time.

that and he's a lousy performer who relies on crowd reaction and barely can spit a coherent verse in a live setting.

dude would be best as a producer for other rappers and singers, but again, does this guy even make his own music?

If the production teams and writing pools working with Travis Scott got unleashed on anyone else you would get the same result or better.

i loved Days Before Rodeo and i liked Rodeo...i like all the little things he adds to songs.
as a rapper...eh, but when he gets it right he can sound really good (his verse on Antidote)

i'd rather hear him put his vision together on a compilation album.

Personally I don't hate him like most of The Coli. I like some of his music just wouldn't care if tomorrow he stopped making music because he got D.O.C'd in a car crash.

I'm indifferent

Antidote is the first song i've liked since he started and it's really the chorus mixed with the beat.

Lyrically he's much ado about nothing.

Which is most artists nowadays anyway but all that personal shyt i don't give a fukk about. And most of the foul accusations i'm sure at a high level most of these nikkas are doing that shyt too so outrage is unnecessary
