I dont think ive ever heard a music reason as to why people don't like Travis Scott on here

I appreciate him more on the production tip. As a artist he doesn't really bring anything to the table that stands out to me. I wouldn't mind a travis scott produced album featuring other artist with a 16 from him here amd there. But thats just my humble opinion.

The melody for antidote is kind of corny, reminds me of a nursery rhyme. Can't really say I've heard his other shyt, so can't weigh in too much

Travis is good. This song is dope and I don't think he's that generic, sure he does the whole sing-rapping thing that's popular now, but he makes music that's really atmospheric as opposed to Future and YT who you want to turn up to. Rodeo is shyt that you put on, get high and kind of sink into, aside from the few songs like Antidote.



And the dude can spit (4:00 mark). When I heard this verse I was surprised af.

Lyrically he's completely forgettable. Every single guest feature on his album outshined him, easily.

And in terms of production, how much of it does he do and how much is owed to others, because from what I hear, he doesn't do much....
