He can still believe that and think LeBron elevates us much further. GSW doesn't need anyone else, but if they could add Bron without giving anything else up that'd take them to another level too.
Yeah but GS actually doesn’t need LeBron. Philly needs at least someone of that caliber

Maybe for next season, but Philly could keep their core intact and win a title in the future. Embiid and Simmons are both MVP level two-way talents. Either of those guys could go on to become the best player in the league someday, if they became the #1 and 2 best players in the NBA I don't think many people would be shocked.

Covington is a dream role player who makes a ton of 3s and is 1st team all defense.

Dario over the last 46 games of the regular season(nice sample size) put up per-36 numbers of 20/8/3 despite being the 4th option on 47/43/87 splits. He basically went 50/40/90 for over half the season in just his second year in the league. He's already showing that he can be a star on the offensive end totally comfortable with and capable of excelling in a smaller role for the sake of the team, and this is his first actual offseason to just practice instead of having to play in Eurocup and the Olympics so who knows what he'll come back like, he still has plenty of room to grow.

I assume Joel has confidence in Markelle coming back, and if so you have another #1 pick that some considered the best guard prospect of this decade with superstar potential who perfectly compliments this squad.

You have established role players like TJ who love their role, Brett finished 4th in coach of the year voting, and all of these guys play incredibly hard, have great chemistry and camaraderie, etc. They're incredibly young and have so much room to grow.

They have the market to retain their players, and the cap flexibility to add in complimentary pieces.

All-Defense 1st team, 10th in the league in 3s made, can hit big shots, 8th in the NBA in RPM and 1st among SFs, and never complains about anything. Perfectly happy in his role on a good contract, and guys on the team like him a lot.
