Only those who planning to adopt should have an opinion on this. Cause you can say all you want but thats one less kid in foster care
She sounds ungrateful as fukk going by the very little she said. Buzzwords aside, it didn't sound that tragic to me.
1. Not to invalidate her personal experience but...she probably had a better childhood than the average black kid and definitely most black orphans/adopted kids.
2. It's been repeatedly said but black people don't adopt like that.

white parents like hers who try to do the color blind thing are well meaning but still do damage because they don't validate what their Black kids are going through regarding race. there was an Ethiopian kid in who committed suicide because he was getting bullied in school and his white parents kept denying it was race based harassment he was facing. the kid was so frustrated he offed himself.
White people always try to "fix" their adopted black kids. whatever that means to them, what it usually means for the kid is an utter denial of their own identity and segregation from their own people.
obviously she faced racism and her white parents were ill equipped to address her or protect her from it. they even denied it. terms aside she was pretty clear...What happened to her? Micro-agressions and gaslighting aren't good terms
