I don't understand why I got this warning.

Dude makes a thread with the title: "Pops passed away."

Now I KNOW a lot of us on here know John Witherspoon as 'Pops' from the Wayans Bros sitcom. I got shook as hell reading that thread title, thinking he died. So I replied in the thread with this:

Pops passed away.

I even kept it respectful and still offered my condolences, after realizing that he was talking about HIS pops. But I replied with that and advised him to alter the title so more people wouldn't get the wrong idea about who the thread was about.

I got 18 daps for that reply, so clearly I wasn't the only one who thought he meant John Witherspoon at first. Another poster even quoted me and said he thought the same thing, and that he almost negged the OP for it

And yet......I got a warning for this?

Clearly I wasn't trying to clown with that reply. So.....why the warning?

You essentially said you don't care that his pops died. At least that how you came across.
And trust, if John Witherspoon died it would say "JOHN WITHERSPOON DIED".
You deserve the warning.Take heed and keep it moving.
