Low trim muscle cars cost $40k+. :skip: Only older men with careers can really afford them. Most young men with nice cars live with their parents and use the majority of their check for the car payments

Yea motorsports aint cheap. There are a lot of influencers tho with stunting/side show culture. But you're right the younger ones tend to be rich asian/YT kids.

A lot of young brehs are into Dirtbikes/ATVs tho...the barrier to entry is a lot lower

It takes a lot of money and space to really get into any kind of automotive hobby.

I own two 40 year old European cars and I do all the preventative maintenance for them. I never could've owned these cars when I was younger and living in an apartment because there would've been no space for all of the tools, fluids, jacks, and spare parts required to maintain them. You also just need space to work period, and that's tough to do in an apartment complex, which is where alot young adults live.

I go to a cars and coffee for retro European cars occasionally and it's mostly flabbyheads like me that actually bring cars out.

One of the main reasons to get your own space if your a handy person.

Those kind of hobbies need space… either a shop or a real home.

I don’t see a lot of younger people with all that unless they join forces like those YouTubers and streamers do.

I feel you but half these kids don't even want to work, it's "slow money" to them. They rather fantasize about going viral or being Instagram famous. Clout equals cash to them.

Man I had a car that I had to fix up until I got it to where I wanted it to be. These kids want the best right out the gate and It don't work that way unless you doing something illegal as a kid.
