I don’t get y’all allowing work to get you this frustrated. Are they forcing you to work OT. My job has a never ending workload with deadlines. Try to meet em & most times do. I understand shyt will never end

I’ll be dammed if I’m going crazy over it tho. Once work is done it’s done

Sounds like you need a hobby or something else in your life that gives you purpose.
It can't be work and porn. You don't have a family right? Because having a wife and children would add plenty of fulfillment and purpose to any decent man's life. That could be what you are missing. Get out and date, meet someone special before you work yourself to an early grave.

Hey whatever works :manny:

I have similar work issues (analytics) and young children so I more than understand.

My personal outlets are the gym, poker and PlayStation. Everybody gotta have a way to release stream though.

Bro, everything down to the "imposter syndrome" is why I left programming and am currently in nursing at the moment. I refuse to die at a computer. I don't know what I was thinking at the time, I guess it was that glamorized idea of what computer science would entail, as you suggested. :mjcry:Probably could have made it if I went a route that got me into game development but even that is hell for most people. I never felt like I was making an impact on the world, even if minor, I honestly felt like some wage slave in a cage. And man, not saying go my route, but the number of CS and CIS people I run into would blow your mind. I guess we just don't have the patience, and no offense, but we lack the "tism" to continue working in that field. So it was that on top of wanting to help people, and significantly less work days in a year that motivated me towards nursing. I don't even care about pay, just not going out sacrificing my time for what I deem nonsense. Good luck though, OP, porn stuff aside. :mjlol:

I'm senior year CS, took a couple years off here and there

What I have heard though is that the course work in college is actually harder than the job you likely will get

You don't have a team, and you aren't assigned to certain modules?

Is this start up shyt that has you burnt out?

Have you thought about getting into more of a support role?
