It’s usually the hardest work in the company yet they get the least respect, they’ve got no power, the least paid (usually minimum wage). The longest hours.

Meanwhile the office people are chilling in their air conditioned office, sitting in their comfy chairs discussing sports and movies, browsing Facebook and instagram and occasionally doing some work. Yet they get paid more, get treated with respect, do no physical work and come in at around 9am whilst the warehouse fill come in at around 7am.

I’m speaking from experience at my company. I work as a chemical engineer at a chemicals factory and the amount of work we do on a daily basis out of 8hrs is probably about 3. The warehouse nikkas are always working. Moving big shyt on a daily basis and they deal directly with the harmful chemicals which are not safe. (They wear face protection masks but still..) said we get paid way more than they do. As in wayyyy more.
Every time I go to the factory floor to discuss certain ingredients to be used in a production, I feel the respect and deference that I get.

Here’s a message for the young brehs on here who are in school. Be serious about your education or else you’ll end up with low wage jobs that are tough as fukk. These jobs are for young people and not old. These cacs have somehow decided office people should get paid massive amounts while the physical people get paid shyt. Study hard and get yourself a nice cushy office job and breeze or else your life ain’t gon be pretty.

Real Talk! I worked like that for 9 months at 18 years old and had no life while working. Everything was work, wake up, go to work then home and repeat again. People think you be joking when you say it’s soul crushing work, but it really is felt like my life was just work and that’s all.

Truly sad way to live life especially if you have the chance to not end up like that. I see the young kids in school clowning around and joking and just shake my head. I hope they don’t end up in them warehouses!

This, or at least get a trade that pays well if college isn't your thing

It's weird because on one hand, you have to commend someone for at least working a legit job, showing up everyday to provide for their families.

On the other hand, the nature of these jobs is indeed soul crushing. If you have the opportunity to do something else with your life, there's no point doing something you hate. I mean, it's not supposed to be a prison sentence.

You also have to be mindful of the kind of person you will become doing something you hate for years. What type of father and husband will you become? Best believe that misery is going to effect your personality and mood and ultimately negatively impact your relationships.

And then while you’re giving them just the 3 hours of work per day in the comfy office, upper management is squeezing in 15 minutes of actual work time in between all the pointless meetings/conferences/seminars. And that 15 minutes is mainly them trying to figure out ways to reduce staff and cut costs to give themselves raises 🫠

What warehouse you been to? We start out folks at 21.50. Shift and weekend differential can push that up to 23.50 before you walk in the door.

When we ship folks out to help other facilities they get 10 bucks on top of their base wage. Those folks are making money.

Yea I got a big thread on my situation at Pepsi…shyt is bullshyt…they ended up firing me and I don’t even give a fukk…shyt was literally back breaking work

Some nights we stayed till 3-4-5 am running around a hot warehouse sweating

While the fakkit ass manager that can barely even do his job sits in the a/c…a cpl times he came out and did a set or 2, I seen this fakkit quit in the middle of a pallet and walk back in his office huffing and puffing…while we do the shyt for 12 hrs str8

It’s def for young ppl with no responsibility but themselves…I missed so many events for my kids working at that bullshyt…spent more time there than at my own home
