I finally applied for Global Entry. Anyone have it? Is it worth it?

I’m mad I have to go all the way to the airport for that shyt. Where do I even park
If you step foot out of the country it is 110% worth it. The ease of which you re-enter the states by scanning your retina or whatever is a flex when you look over and see everyone else from your flight waiting to go through the customs line.
All for like 15 more bucks than TSA pre check. If you have a travel credit card like a Marriott or United one, they will pay for it every 4-5 years.

Park in the short term parking lot.
My daughter is 8 months and doing the “interview” in a couple of weeks. It’s nothing.

Not global entry, but I've been a Nexus member since 2001. It's saved me so much time I can't even count. Even if you use Global entry, Nexus, or Sentri once a year it's worth it.

Definitely worth it. I applied in 2021 after returning from Europe and standing in line at JFK for like 15-20 minutes, I was shocked.
Did my interview at BWI, took me longer to find the interview area than it took me to do the interview itself.
Fast forward, flew into LAX late last year. If I remember correctly, they recognized me as I was walking through, didn't even have to stop. Ended up walking alongside staff and homeland security agents.

Kids EACH have to have it. Same with spouse. Different from Clear and TSA with the kid angle.
For me it's pointless bc I rarely travel internationally alone.

I have it, so much better being able to go to a kiosk and enter in info then going through customs

I have Nexus (which works like Global Entry) and it's the best thing I've ever gotten. Wait times at the security gate at Toronto Pearson are literally less than 5 minutes. Wait times at US customs and Canada customs are almost nonexistent.
