It really depends on what part of Mexico you go to, I think DF has a a lot of white/whiter people. Mexico's gene pool is actually mixed pretty evenly between Spaniard/Indigenous, but the way the average person looks depends a lot on where you are.

Well the most correct thing for her to do would be to pick both the White and Native American boxes (assuming she's Mestiza), the Native American box says "indigenous peoples of the Americas" rather than just recognized tribes of the US.
