Coming up my aunt and uncles house was the party spot and there was a cookout or kickback of some sort at least every other week. Even the neighborhood drunks and smokers could post in the yard and have a good time, but there was one smoker who always just looked from across and down the street. I never asked about it but he died the other day and all my older peoples were like fukk him, basically. So I asked what’s the deal and they told me the story of how they found this nikka in the bathroom with a little girl at one of the parties when I was a baby about to rape a little girl. Luckily her mother realized she hadn’t been seen in a little while and started calling her and that’s when she called back from the back bathroom and they found dude with her with his pants unbuckled. He got sent to the hospital but nobody told the police what happened instead when he got back on the block he was told he’d be killed if he ever got within a few houses of my uncles house while a party was going or if there were any reports of him looking at a kid too long. Apparently he was beat on randomly for a couple years after the incident too. shyt is crazy for years I walked or rode my bike past this dude and had no clue.
Also, that’s when the smokers and the drunks that weren’t related to us had to start staying in the yard. I was clueless and thought that was just the natural place for them..
Do y’all think they handled this right or would you have called the cops?
