I got $2500 dollars to spare, any idea's on increasing it? (Advice)

A lot of you seem to know a shyt load more about money that I do. So I figure I would ask for advice, I know $2500 isn't much, but is their anyway I could put it to use to increase it(outside of flipping it illegally of course)

I know that's not much to go on, but like I said, that's why I'm asking for advice, any feedback would be appreciated.

what type of money are you looking to profit.....
in business your reward is normally equal to the risk for the most part
secondly, is this a long term? or short term investment?
because you can either double up, buying low selling higher on kijiji and other local classified websites...
or you can invest a couple thousand in china imports and make the money '
thirdly. are you wanting profit RIGHT NOW 7-30days, or do you not mind the long term? 30 days - 6 months.

I'm not sure what one would typically profit from a $2500 investment so I'm a little stumped as far as what type of profits to expect, however I'm pretty sure I'm not going to make ten thousand dollars off a 2500 investment.

It's not money I really need right now, so It would more likely be long term. However if their are viable options in the short term I would at least like to hear about them.

I'm not familiar with Kijiji or know If I'm interested in having to sell anything.

Again, I'm asking for advice, because I don't know Anything about this process.

well a Roth IRA is a retirement plan that's why that time table is so long.

I would say look into index funds from Vanguard. Something that tracks US stocks or broad indexes based on your preferences. Keep adding to it as you can over time.

Anything else, I mean ANYTHING you could suggest, like starting up a small home business? What kind of stocks or indexes? Breh when I said I don't know shyt, I meant it, hell if you can link me to some info on some of these things I'd be appreciative.
