I got Infamous 2nd place son today: Here is my review

My girlfriend is now an xbot. But she was about to buy a PS4 before I started giving here cockmeat sandwiches
So i told her to waste her bread on one if she wants. And she did
I peeped the threads about ordering infamous and getting it early. Well mine landed today
So I start the game up. First game I play on the PS4, and it looks pretty good. Can't lie about that.
But ultimately, after you play it for a second. It becomes clear that these next gen systems are not yet ready to wow us like we hoped.

And I know the regulars and the masses will make up lies, acting like its better than it really is I.E. Killzone
But the game looks very similar to how it did on PS3. The thing is, this game has always looked FANTASTIC
It doesn't even make sense how games like Infamous are overlooked by actual sony gamers. Then the few fanboys act like its better than it was. The truth is, Infamous is a very decent franchise. It just got repetitive in the previous ones.
I haven't played this one enough to whats good, but I can tell you that its a decent game so far.
Its just not this evolution of graphical upgrades that we was expecting. The downgrade made it closer to its PS3 levels of graphic fidelity.

I will play thru it a lil more, then I will tell you if its still the same forumla of run, blow up/kill, run to the next spot, repeat
I'll drop that info later today. I'd give this game a solid 7 after 1hr

also, i agree, people have slept on these games...but as long as sucker punch keeps putting them out, i know they'll sell at least 1 copy....

anyway, lucky you for getting it early...i cant wait to pick this up friday and get it in...

nah bruh, it is more of the same. Better, but I was expecting too much I guess.
Once again, I personally had no problems with the first two infamous games.
I realize that most people didn't play infamous, or only played it cuz sony couldn't sell any copies and ended up giving infamous 1 and 2 away for free via PS+ program
Infamous 1 was part of the welcome back program after sony waited a week to tell everyone there CC info was exposed

Great looking, playing games. Just had an issue of being repetitive, weak story/etc.
After an hour with this new game, it looks better. Feels more fleshed out. But the actual gameplay hasn't wowed me yet. And I fear that if there isn't something else, something different to do in this game than in the previous two? Then it'll end up being boring to the "masses"
I'm well aware there are a good 20, 30thousand who actually like this series...
