You came out of DePaul without a job? :wtf:

What did you major in? :dwillhuh:

If you want a Govt job, here in IL, you have to take a CMS test and also put in an application, which, if you're coming back in the fall, you need to do that ASAP.(as in like this month)

The people who have the highest test scores get the interviews and jobs first, and veterans get automatic point bonuses, so you need to score high.

That's the governments way of evening things out, I couldn't get you in the door if I wanted to, best I could do is be a reference:guilty:

:lupe:Breh speak on the hustle that is Tech Managment? I'm here workin as a Network Analyst doing project based work and was wondering about how different duties/expectations are for your position. We talkin managing a help desk or something?

Thats only at the state level, if you work for the city then you don't have to do any of that, just apply and you're damn near guaranteed an interview if you have a degree. But you didn't hear that from me.
Nah, B. I was working for a Fortune 300 in the Raq for a good number of years. Almost got burned out so decided to come to the EU to teach English, and realistically I cant do this forever (altho I could :ld:) so Im trying to get back in US-mode this month. What is a CRM test? :mjlol: I'm new to the game, but I'll put on (study) if it's some real GUAP out there, folk. :ld:

More so handling the incoming and processing the coordination of contracts for the local departments. Administration manages procedures and people, the other grades deal with carrying out the actual procedures.

It's honesty not that hard to do, getting the job is the hard part.

It is a computerized test tailored to the job that you're applying for. So if you were applying to be an engineer, you would go take the test and it would ask you engineering relatedquestions, relative to the experience level needed for the job. If it was an entry level position it would ask you basic engineering questions, if it was a managerial/experienced position it would ask you more intricate questions. The people who get A's get called back for interviews first , then if there's room left B's get called back. C's never get called back. The test questions stay the same, so if you memorize the questions, you can come back in 45 days and retake it and get a better score. Veterans get extra free points just for being veterans. Then once you interview they look at your résumé and decide what to pay you within your potential jobs pay grade range.

....And quit calling our city Chiraq:rudy:

the "'Raq" a is cute and covert moniker tho. :ld:

Well in the case that you do come back, you've now got an Inside scoop on how to get a cushy public sector job.

Once they see DePaul on your resume you should be good wherever you apply in this city. :obama:
