One of the reasons black people are in the disfranchised position we are globally is that we allowed ourselves to believe that it was simply classism as white people have told us for generations That if we simply obtained resources that we would be on equal ground with the rest of the world. This point was illustrated by Booker T washington and again in the Mis-Education of the Negro. But the problem is that racism (white supremacy) will not willingly allow black people to obtain those resources and ever be on equal ground with the white man on national or global scale.
