Gotta Make it was his most soulful. You could tell he was really trying to make it.I don’t wanna leeeeeeaaaaaaaavvveeeee![]()
But I gotta go right nowwwwww
Classic Trigga. First 4 albums are bangers, some classics. Chapter V was good but after that was his decline. He still put out good projects, his mixtapes are fire, but he lost that soul and enthusiasm that he displayed especially in Gotta Make it when he was grinding.
My older sister had the album. I remember playing it back plenty. Also some great forgotten cuts from the album:
^^^This one has the Rkelly Chicago Stepping kinda feel. That all white linen outfit music. Grown vibe. Almost sounds like a Steppers version of Gotta Go. Love this track.
I believe he did my friend.did he ever make it?.....![]()
Yeah, Chocolate Factory influence was all over this track. I don't know why I never noticed how much Trey was influenced by Kellz.Definitely sounds chocolate factory inspired. Trey admitted Kellz was his biggest inspiration and you can hear it in his music even today. & he was 19-20 when this album dropped, its amazing how much his sound digressed from this.
He went off on this
