You should damn near be forced to call up the offices of Wally Russell and get a sample clearance when discussing Max. I've been trying to get discussions started on him here for months, it never works out . . I think Max Martin needs to get into hip-hop and actually work on popularlizing the style of a real rapper . . putting that pop sound into it that was so popular at the turn of the century
What would happen if Max Martin and Dr. Dre worked together . . imagine a joint venture between the two working on launching the next superstar

Well . . "People who ONLY listen to pop have the least diverse music taste" . . but pop has always adopted popular traits from other musical genres . . hence the implementation of EDM style production techniques in a lot of pop music these days . . but ignoring pop and the influence it has on successful modern music is ignorant. regardless of it's too your taste or not you should be able to recognize what makes it successful. People need to see beyond themselves

if you are a fan of music in general than you should have some respect - even if its begrudging - for the impact max martin has had. its tough to find a big artist he hasnt worked with in the last 15 years. him and luke have had an almost unprescedented run. plus they've been looking to the future grooming kids like benny blanco and cashmere cat for a min. pop music will def get interesting in the next few years when those dudes take on a bigger role.
the blueprint max and luke developed, im definitely sick of... but you gotta respect it.
