I had the shining achievement of my career yesterday...learned how to use PowerShell

I've been reading the book learn Powershell in a,month of lunches on my lunch break

And I was like ok when will,we get to the useful part

So I have to remove and add users to two separate groups

And it's a lot of them

So I search online for a Powershell script but can't get it to run

I figure out that's it's for Distribution Groups instead of Office365 groups

So I find the right command and replace it

Still won't work

So I find out it's because of white space in the notepad I'm saving as a csv file and get it to work flawlessly

Finally found my niche and found out how to do some shyt that my coworkers really ain't on

I use powershell for work to look up errors/exceptions in logs. Can be tedious, but since I learned the shortcut to search for particular strings in a log, it makes the process easier.

We use tf outta powershell at my job, makes device swaps way easier cus we have a script for copying computer groups for applications from one PC to another.


That's a dope book btw, I have it too but i haven't gone through it yet cus im currently focused on python and my ccna
