The trendy crowd is annoying

They look at rap songs as fad accessories that they play for a bit and then delete it when its out of style and not as songs they personally enjoy.

You can tell who they are because they won't have not one old school rap album in their rotation

I bet that's why the rap scene lacks variety these days.

And they attention span is nonexistent. A song gets old after about 2-4 weeks. I used to jam full albums for a year until that rapper dropped his next album.

I mean theres 2 diff kinds of fans. the hipsters who think they know about fine Art... And the regular fans, who care more about quantity then quality.

Neither fan base is pushing contemporary hip hop in a positive direction. Maybe they're just used to mediocrity :ld:

Today?

shyt has been going on in the mainstream like this for damn near 15 years now. Mainstream hip hop will always be about whos hot and whos next.

Are you mad that Fabolous is not a popular mainstream rapper anymore and everyone jumped off his bandwagon onto Big Seans?
