I HATE trailers that completely misrepresent the movie

fukk marvel for that bullshyt. I was hyped to see this movie. Trailer made the movie look dark, gritty and finally having a great villain. Instead they pull the villain swap and the movie was a typical corny marvel sitcom. Trailer was a spit in the face.

M night was riding high off three straight good to great films. Signs was legimately scarier then most horror flicks. This trailer made the movie look like the next great horror film.

I think the most hoodwinked I ever felt by a trailer was for Highlander: Endgame.
It was supposed to be a merging of the Highlander films and TV show which I was a fan of and the trailer made it look like it would be action packed with Connor and Duncan McCloud fighting and a lot of Donnie Yen but the trailer was made up of about 90% of scenes that were not in the actual movie.

Without starting a war I'll throw MOS into the mix. Part of the reason why I was so disappointed was because the tone of the movie was nothing like the trailers made it seem.

It really looked like the movie was gonna have this huge heart and tell this emotional story about self discovery and hope and all that but in reality the movie played like a standard summer action blockbuster.



THAT was the trailer that best represented the movie. Had they ran with that first I think a lot more people would have known what to expect.

Still have yet to see The Viklage but Iron Man 3 got me into the Theater. I had seen enough before Tony did the Airplane Scene. Oh God, you can just say Mandarin now and it completely means Nothing in Marvel's Movie Universe.

I guess a recent one was the planet of the apes sequel that made you think the Humans were going to be the aggressors on some war shyt when the movie was a lot more nuanced.

It might be the first time I thought a movie was wack sauce by the trailer and when I saw it, it was dope.
