Is it possible to make it mandatory that a poster must search to see if a thread about the topic he or she is about to post has already been made?

Or if it is like 3 or 4 threads about the same thing be merged together? I think that would help keep the board from being so cluttered.

When creating a thread it populates similar threads, doesnt do it on mobile though.

Mods are suppose to merge threads, sometimes they don't catch it. You can @ them in said threads that need merging though....
