I have an idea for novel, should I start writing?

don't wanna give too much detail but there's this idea of novel I have. think of it as breaking bad meets naruto except with a black lead, the gist of the story is this a good kid who grows up and loses everything in the processes that meant dear to him and becomes the very evil he despises but through an act of self sacrifice he's able to redeem himself and be at peace with the hand life dealt him on his deathbed

i want it to reach out to all the inner city kids who have lost hoped but should still keep their chin up

i don't give a fukk about that story but you will be a failure in life at anything you do if this is your mindset. You have to believe in yourself first before anything. And you didn't give any of the storyline, you gave a very brief synopsis. Why don't you write out a chapter or something and then post it, or not even a chapter, like a page, then you could get feedback on it.
