I have been watching Gold and even playing PGA 2K23 and brehs, this seems like a easygoing relaxing sport compared to most sports that rely heavily on killing yourself. Just going with the flow, knowing the wind control, and having a peace of mind plays a huge factor in the success of hitting at least a par. Plus, the shyt is like ongoing, there's no offseason whats so ever. Closest thing to a no offseason is Futbol, but these dudes swang and stroke with no days off .

Plus, its a fierce competition, where if you even hit a bogey or higher, you are fukked. Sort of like Baseball, where the team could be the GOAT but wiped out of the Post Season from a bum ass team.

Sure it reeks of , its a fun and laid back watch.

Also the older I get, there’s an intense urge for everything I do to be toward progress. Like time is limited. I do cardio, I get in better shape. I lift, I get swole. I gamble, I make money …golf and fishing seems so pointless

Its all the patience game. As somebody who dealt with shyt customers, waiting in line for stuff, and etc...its all a matter of mindfulness, which is why folks probably golf or fish.

Why wife used to fish with her dad and she enjoyed it.

My uncle at one point promised me that he would take me fishing when I was younger.

I used to play golf alot. Work league twilight rounds, lessons, scrambles, weekend rounds, everything. But now I honestly have more fun playing Topgolf with casual players instead of real golf. Hard to find the 4-5 hours for a full 18 and the greens fees now are crazier than ever. Even the dogshyt courses charge too much during peak season here and the course will be packed and slow, aerated greens, torn up fairways.
