I have no sympathy for people that get spoiled in the week before and after a big film gets released

First of all, why is your ass still searching for news on Twitter, Youtube or the Coli in the week/days leading to release when you know damn well there are people who have already seen it or played it (in the case of video games) in the form or review copies/leaks etc? :gucci:

By that point all the trailers would have dropped and the producers/cast would have long since stopped dropping hints/insights and doing interviews. What extra tidbits are you trying to aquire? It's like dudes are trying to find out ABSOLUTELY EVERY SINGLE MINUTE DETAIL BESIDES the ending. Then you get some random a$$hole in the comments on some, "Wolverine dies" and then these wanna-know-it-all-besides-the-ending cats wanna get all mad and shyt.

Yes, intentionally spoiling a film is a scumbag move but you're a fool for putting yourself in a position to be spoiled in the first place.:mjlol:

I have even less sympathy for dudes that get spoiled by reviews before seeing the movie themselves. That's what you get for not trusting your own judgement and ability to form your own concise ideas and opinions about a film :umad:

I agree. You know people are going to be talking about it on Facebook, Instagram, etc for the next few days/week so if you want to avoid spoilers then stay away from social media for a few days. Yeah it sucks and it's sad that you have to do that but this isn't the 90s or 2000s where spoilers were a lot easier to avoid.

I didn't see Black Panther until a week after it was released but I got spoiled by people posting about Killmonger on Facebook and even the coli. I can't be mad for not avoiding the spoilers, especially for a such a high profile movie. :yeshrug:

Naw you can’t just minimize how hard it is to avoid spoilers. Like for example nobody on my timeline talks about wrestling ever but let the rock comeback or something noteworthy happens it will be in my google news feed, my YouTube recommendations will have spoiler recaps and all my non wrestling fan friends will be talking about it. I can’t avoid everything without straight up turning my phone off and going to live under a rock for a few days.

shyt that gets me angry is when someone will just post a spoiler in something that has nothing do with the movie. Like if your on a star wars site, or a star wars thread and you catch a spoiler, that's on you, but if your on something like Yahoo Sports looking up draft recaps and someone spoils Infinity War in the comments then you have a right to be mad.

I had tickets for Infinity War for Friday. I went on internet radio silence Thursday morning. No Facebook, Twitter, reddit, nothing. I didnt go back online until the post credit scene came on. If you don't want to be spoiled, it can be done.

If your on a site that might be discussing it and you haven't see it yet, that's on YOU if you get spoiled.

I feel you OP. I've resorted to watching Thursday night or Friday morning matinees of most MCU / Star Wars flicks because of this. Thankfully (or sadly from Hollywood's perspective) not too many films nowadays draw this spoiler attention.

It's not always easy to avoid spoilers when idiots put movie gifs in threads unrelated to the movie or when they put spoliers in thread titles. No one should have to go into radio silence for weeks to avoid spoilers.

What's easy is not posting spoilers outside of clearly designated threads or spoiler tags.

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
I usually manage to avoid spoilers. I go dark on social media, YouTube, and here. If I see a news article on FB, or on here, I just keep scrolling. One of my a$$hole friends did manage to post a false spoiler concerning Infinity War on Facebook, so when I went to see the movie, I was surprised that it didn't happen. He also spoiled Han Solo's death a few days after TFA came out, but I saw that on opening night, so no biggie in my case. I just think that's some childish, kid shyt to go out of your way to purposely spoil something and ruin someone else's enjoyment. :scust: All that I've said about the movie after I saw it was that I had a long and quiet drive home while keeping a :merchant: face. Keep it cryptic. :birdman:
