my dryer conked out on me and the new one ain't come yet...so I had to take these wet clothes to the mat....

when did they start usin cards to turn on the washer/dryer machines?....
I came in with a bunch of quarters lookin like a fool...


and why the Asian dude that works there get mad at me cuz I only dried my clothes?...cursed me out in his native tongue like this was Menace II Society.....

had to curse him out back like I knew what he was sayin.....

can't wait till this new dryer get here.....

This the life I want, never going. I only want a house to wash clothes anytime I want.

My apartment building (TRASH WASHER/DRYER) just converted to all digital like two months ago.

But, the 'mat I go to still takes coins only.

A lot of laundromats have a folktale (not sure whatelse to call it) about a worker somewhere out there getting beat with a bag of quarters.
It's not a guarantee, but if you come in looking pissed and swinging the bag around, they might offer free service.

The general concern is that you're posing a threat to the employees or even worse, some unsuspecting customer.
The free service is too entice you to put the quarters away and avoid any lawsuits from employees/customers.

Had to go to a laundromat a couple months ago cause my washing machine needed a new pump. Laundry day is Sunday and the part was going to take a week to arrive. Now the last time I went to a Laundromat a $10 roll of quarters got it done. So I roll up in there with my quarters, only to realize you need tokens and it's about $5 just to wash one load not dry just wash. All told it cost $40 to do laundry that day. Never again

i'll find a fire hydrant and use a microwave to dry my clothes before i let it get to that.....
