I don't want to be laid up in some hospice with bed sores and a shytty diaper waiting for some brain dead CNA to clean me up after she gets done texting her baby daddy.
With good social services and if you sustain good relations throughout your life (friends, family) you can manage well imo. I know some older people who are not necessarily really well off but are still living a fulfilling life. And for the "physical" aspect my grandma passed away at 90 years old and she was still very much aware and could mostly take care of herself
