A Texas teen, who was reported missing after her cell phone and the utility vehicle she had been driving were found abandoned, carefully “orchestrated her disappearance” to make it appear as though she had been kidnapped, authorities said.

Late Wednesday night, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reported they had safely located 15-year-old Ryder Cambron in Dobbin, Texas—not far from her hometown of Magnolia, Texas.
“Missing Teen-Ryder Skye Cambron found safe. She was not abducted,” they wrote.
Investigators say Cambron “orchestrated her disappearance” along with a 17-year-old boy who lived in Dobbin, according to The Houston Chronicle.
