Its easily the most boring sport of the majors. Literally half the time of a game is spent waiting for the next pitch. Think about that. That means for over an hour you are looking at a dude shaking and nodding his head. Might as well watch grass grow.

Check a game live and you'll find an appreciation for it. Best way to get into it is to pick a team to root for and go from there. Learn all your players and eventually you'll pick up on other players by watching them play your squad.

Baseball is boring as shyt. I'm a huge fan of sports, I'll even watch hockey if there's nothing else on, and I've tried to watch this crap. Even half drunk off beers and eating hot wings with friends (When 99% of sports are entertaining) I still can't get in to this shyt

its very hard to get in to, whenever i put on a mets game i get ready for it and within 5 mins i find myself falling asleep. baseball is good to watch when sportscenter is doing the highlights of the game.

As big of a Mets fan I am and someone who often watches MLB Tonight, baseball is boring unless it's live or the postseason. Unlike NBA or NFL, baseball is a sport where it has to be passed down to you(pops; uncle, etc taking you to games as a kid) or you grow up watching it, for one to enjoy it.

OP, if you still want to get into baseball, I'd say take your little brother/niece/cousin or go with your friends to a your local MLB stadium.

Baseball is a tradition thing, kinda like fishing. Fishing is boring as shyt to somebody who never does it. Usually family gets you into baseball. I gotta be in the mood to watch it and postseason is pretty decent to check out.

I used to love Baseball. But it seems like every year. I start watching later and later. I think because of the non-stop coverage of Football, and NBA season seems end on August 1. Baseball is getting squeezed out.
