I got hired to manage a restaurant which hasn't been profitable for a minute , so I know one of the best ways to reduce costs is to fire people
but to be honest I'm too soft-hearted to do it .
The restaurant owners would keep pushing me to fire someone , but I would just keep making excuses or just try to delay it but the inevitable just happened and I'm
literally shaking.
and the funniest thing is that I didn't fire her because she's a bad employee , its actually the OPPOSITE ...she's actually one of my best . It was due to her boyfriend.
this dude would show up like 2-3 times a week and would make a fool out of himself , talking about things nobody really cared about .
The straw that broke the camel's back was this dude non-stop talking about some trip on november 3rd to Orlando , like my guy ...everybody and their momma been to Orlando.
I think she told me he's 28 , but dude is already larry status.
like the good thing for her is that she just got paid , and has another check coming but I might just keep it.
did I do the right thing ?
