this summer...I mean I legit stopped watching because as a Spurs fan it was to concerning to look at But Aldridge is going to make his job so much easier...he won't have to go all the way to the rim now and when he does it won't be as crowded cause Aldridge can drag his man all the way out to the 3 point line...West can drag his man out 15 feet...
Him in the pick and roll with LMA should result in a wide open jumpshot for him if he want's it...i would think teams are going to make him prove he can make that shot because doing anything else in a PNR with him and LMA is going to get real ugly for the defense real fast...
And hopefully...just hopefully...Danny Green learns how to dribble a fukking basketball...
Pretty as this offense is and the starting sg cannot be trusted to even bring the ball upcourt with any regularity...after 3 years in the system...
As great as Kyle Anderson played in summer league I still wonder how he fits onto this team...to small to be a 4...to slow to be a 3...he can play a small ball 4 or super small 5...but both west and diaw can do that better than he can right now...bt Kyle has shown a ton of potential so he has got to play somewhere...
Time for Patty to get a little more burn off the bench. Hate to say it because TP is just that fun to watch but his days of 50%+ shooting / 66%+ finishing rate at the basket are numbered, and Green-Kawhi will have to pick up even more slack on defense. Patty looked noticeably better than Parker in the playoffs and added an outside shooting punch that Tony couldn't ever bring. I expect them to split minutes more and TP should receive the Duncan treatment (28ish MPG) as he'll still be invaluable to their playoff success. I hope the decline isn't too serious, but if he's really been playing the way y'all have said so in the tourney then
