Politics

Ive always despised people (men and women)who are too much into politics. You know the type: No matter how much of a good time you're having at a party or at work they feel the need to bring up political affiliation/discussion and next thing you know the conversation turns sour and just kills the buzz.

At first i used to think it was just republicans that I couldnt stand but now I've realized hardcore democrats get on my freakin' nerves too.

This makes two chicks that i dated that are super passionate about politics and i find it annoying.

  • The first was an attorney and she hopes to someday be into the political arena so i understood her passion.
  • The more recent one was this chick whom while i respect her pro Obama stance, was just way too into that shyt and always trying to get me into political discussions. And i'm not just talking national level. Nahh.. this one is all up in local politics too.
    • You get in her house: Radio and TV on politics
    • You get in her car: Political show on the radio
    • She walking around with her phone: Political shows from i<3 Radio stations is playing

Now I know we must all be concerned and involved in the political process but there's gotta be a limit. I dont need you overloading my facebook feed and posting shyt on my wall with that shyt

Well as a dude, I've always kept Politics in my back pocket.

I don't make it a point to talk about it and I damn sure aint about to spend time debating politics in public.

But if a chick or anybody wanna go there for some reason, I like to know whats going on. Moreso about Bills and Acts that are being passed than politicans themselves.

I pride myself on knowing a little something about everything so :ld:

I disagree...it beats talking about love n hip hop, or the latest attention whorin move of Kim K and Kanye. Rappin about politics is an easy way to get to know someone quick, and see what he or she is workin with mentally and emotionally. I was in vegas this past halloween, and me and my boys met these broads on the strip, so we invited them up to the room to preparty with us that night before hittin the clubs. I had a dope convo w/ one of the girls in the group concerning the upcoming election, as we we sipped peach ciroc w/ welchs white grape....Starin into each other's eyes. Shttin on Romney. I aint got to tell you how the night ended up between us.

Some people hate talking about reality and need to dream their way through life.

Alot of times and its unfortunate, the people who hate having serious discussions have a better time talking about demonic things.

Gossiping/someone at work they dont like/someones appearence/someones possessions/someones family/

etc.

Its so demonic, friends.

There is a difference

I can have a casual convo about politics. The ones I hate are the people who must turn EVERY conversation into a political one

Example: We were at our annual benefits meeting this year and the HMO was explaining how the new plan will work. All the sudden one of the developers at my job went into this tirade about big government and why government shouldnt be getting into healthcare blah blah blah.

THOSE are the type of fukkers I would like to see die.

I keep my political knowledge to myself. You can rarely if ever change someone's opinion on something, people will believe what they want to believe. So I read about political things and mull it over in my head, but rarely talk about it with people in everyday life.
