Just found out that Crispin Glover never signed on to do the second one, and they had another dude play him while conveniently hiding his face. That's why future George McFly was hanging upside down :ohhh:
Then i paid closer attention to all the 1955 scenes that weren't direct clips of part 1 and noticed every part where he was interacting with Lorraine they were only showing the back of his head or side of his face. Crispin sued them for using his likeness and got almost a milly.

Also the chick that played Marty's gf got replaced in II & III because she quit acting after her mom got cancer. She was badder than Elisabeth Shue too
IMDB is gold (though I miss their message board:mjcry:)

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
I read a recent interview with Crispin Glover where he said that he's only watched BTTF maybe twice in his entire life. That's kind of a downer. I know he clashed with Zemeckis on a few things and he had that lawsuit against Spielberg and company after BTTF 2 came out.

yep.

Crispin's lawsuit also helped SAG create some guidelines so directors couldn't do that kinda shyt with an actor ever again.
What’s wrong with it? Using angles and pretending?

'Back to the Future II" From a Legal Perspective: Unintentionally Visionary

He filed a $1 million dollar lawsuit against Universal and partners for using his likeness. Universal tried to get the case thrown out. They argued it was George McFly who was onscreen, not Crispin Glover. “By making Weissman look like Glover,” Ranker notes, “the filmmakers were merely trying to… provide the audience with visual continuity in regard to the character, as opposed to engaging in a sort of identity theft.” Eventually the matter was settled out of court for $760,000.

Michael Biehn almost sued 20th Century Fox for using his likeness in Alien 3, but they ponied up. He was paid more for NOT starring in Alien 3 than he was for starring in Aliens.

The IMDB message boards were so good for obscure movie info/recommendations... especially on horror films. I miss them too.

Also, that theory Doc had about seeing yourself at another point in time. LIES. Biff had spent a whole damn afternoon hanging out with his young self, gave him the almanac.

also, if he took the time machine from one version of the future, truth is Doc and Marty wouldn’t have ever been able to get the time machine back because if Biff altered the space time continuum, after he dropped the almanac off, he would have traveled ALL the way to the future 2015 with him on top of the world.

Instead, they had him return to the original 2015, just so Marty and Doc could travel back. They should have been stranded technically
