Florida's law enforcement community is rallying around U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio's reelection campaign.
The Miami Republican on Saturday scored the endorsement of the Florida Police Benevolent Association, a politically important statewide union group representing more than 30,000 members.
Rubio, seeking a third term, is vying against Democratic Congresswoman and former Orlando Police Chief Val Demings.
The endorsement strikes yet another blow to Demings, a 27-year law enforcement veteran,
