Not enough people know how to download an entire album to make these rappers flop. It's all these free mixtapes that shyts on the albums. Not to mention the singles be ok, then you get the album and its completely trash so who's gonna keep wasting money on these half ass rappers?

Thats part of the reason..the quality went down..but still, how are 4/5 rappers strugglin to see gold?:damn:

But for the most part..its the internet.
Remember when Napster (:flabbynsick:) was taking all the heat for all the downloading that was going on?

Who would have thought the industry would get shytted on this bad?:russ:

I see your point...the internet does have a lot to do with it, but as an example, Kendrick just went gold and I knew quite a few people that downloaded that album (more than usual when I ask somebody "you heard that ____ album") . Damn near everybody I knew has a downloaded copy of all Wayne albums after Carter 2, but he still going gold somehow, so I really think the quality of music plays a huge part too (I know, I said "after Carter 2 and quality.....It's contradictory :yeshrug: )
