Consolidation caused the same types of music to be widely broadcasted, instead of having multiple avenues for a variety of artists/music to be played, and increasing technology killed off the widespread distinction of music, specifically region-based music.On top of that, you have dudes simply trying to make whatever everybody else is making instead of doing their own thing. Following has been accepted at a rapid rate for awhile, and being an individual is looked down on.
