I know it’s early but we may be witnessing a top 3 nba draft of all-time.

:picard: I’ve never seen so much talent in a draft class.

-Deandre Ayton is clearly Phoenix best player and when they give him the ball he’s been absolutely efficient. Since December 6th he’s been averaging 18ppg 14rpg while shooting 63 percent from the field and over the last five games he’s been averaging 23ppg, 16rpg on 64 percent shooting from the field (85 percent from the free throw line)

-Mikail Bridges ( Phoenix) is already one of the best pick and roll defenders in the league and Phoenix is a plus 15 better with him on the court vs off the court.

-Wendall Carter Jr is already an great rim protector and has already become Chicago best two way player.

-Luka Doncic is by far the best Mavericks player and he’s only 19 years old. Not only is the superstar attitude there, he’s already taking big shots, taking over games and has taken on a leadership role. In his last 6 games he’s averaging 25PPG, 6rpg, 7.5 ast per game.

-Jaren Jackson has already come in and established himself as a good rim protector and a good offensive player. The young brother is already shooting over 50 percent from the field and he’s a great all-around defender.

-Collin Sexton struggled in the beginning of the year with Cleveland dysfunction and now he’s living up to his potential as the future point guard. His shooting has skyrocketed from earlier in the year to 40 percent from three right now.

-Allonzo Trier is looking like the greatest steal since Manu Ginobili

-Kevin Knox has finally found his groove and has been averaging 17ppg, 6rpg whole shooting 40 percent from three.

-Shai Gil Alexander has probably been the steal of the first round ( shooting 55 percent around the rim) and if the clippers didn’t have a log jam at guard his number would be higher.

-Kevin Huerter shooting 42 percent from three is already looking like the second coming of Kyle korver ( already leads Atlanta in catch and shoot attempts).

Let’s not even forget
-Trae Young
-Marvin Bagley
-Mitchell Robinson
-Rodonis kucurus ( Crazy steal for the nets)

:picard: Where did this talent come from?

There are a lot of players who were just NBA ready, guys like Trier, Mikal, Robert Williams, Miles Bridges, Aaron Holiday, Kurucs etc. all would have been first rounders last year. And a couple would have gone higher than they did this year.

A lot of second rounders have skills that translate too. I don't really think it's because this is some all time great draft, it's just that there are a lot of guys who had skills that let them get minutes immediately and contribute.

With Kurucs though he just got fukked over by Barcelona, no reason he should have gone in the second.

I think it'll be a great draft in terms of longevity at least.

SO WHO ARE THE JORDANS, KOBES, BRONS
OF THIS DRAFT
NERDY BLACK GUY?

:mjlol:

Was just thinking about how good this draft class was. This and last year don’t have a generational talent per say( Tatum and Luka got star potential) but the depth of both drafts are loaded with really good players

nikkas overhyping mikal bridges

I've been a big fan of him for the past 3 years, you could see what kind of player he would develop into ever since that first championship at Nova. It was inevitable he'd be a top 10 pick.

The only huge weakness in his game is his ball handling/ability to create his own shot.

1984, 1996, and 2003 all had multiple universally recognized Top 30ish players. You foresee that with this draft as well?
It’s not all about that depth should matter.

2003 draft is personally overrated imo.
