Seeing what people are thinking (via them using the internet as their diary), footage of all kinds of horror, secrets "they (the powers that be)" keep. Lately I feel as if I can see beneath the surface of everyday life.
Neighbors (living in random apartment building near 1000 strip malls in a nice-ish part of town), coworkers, strangers seem transluscent - the part they hide is glowing through. I am fully aware that I'm inferring about 90% of it based on simple pattern recognition but still... it's like some "They Live" sh"t.
Once, I would engage people just to try to build. Reach across the aisle. Now I am standoffish, resentful... cause "I know what they say when I'm not around."... (I read it in YouTube comments).
Just turned down an invite to a Fourth of July parade in a smaller town. Don't even wanna see no ultra patriots stuntin. I love America on some idealistic tip, but the people who control America think I am not America so it's hard to cheese with them. It was kinda better when we were ignorant of all these details.
