Mid-height cross-trainers. They are okay. But, I'm going to stick with running sneakers for running and indoor soccer shoes for my leg workout days.
I already have inner strength. I don't need to get it from a midget comedian's sneaker line. Just kidding. But I hope he makes good money on this sneaker deal.
If you follow comedian Kevin Hart on Instagram, you know there are two things he takes pretty seriously: his career and his health. The Philadelphia native has been hustling hard for the past few years juggling movies like “Central Intelligence”, a cross country comedy tour, and planning an upcoming wedding to fiancé Eniko Parrish. In addition to making us laugh, Hart is actually an advocate for health and fitness teaming up with sportswear giant Nike for their “Inner Strength” campaign as well as coordinating 5K runs around the country.
The 5’4″ entertainer who once revealed to Men’s Fitness that his workout regimen begins each day at 5:30 AM recently made it easier for his fans to stay healthy and fit right along with him. This past weekend he released his new cross training sneakers “Free Train Instinct Hart”. The sneakers, a part of his “Move with Hart” campaign, come in classic gray and black, as well as blue, white and gold (inspired by his children). In addition, the collaboration also features 23 light-reflective, inspirational quotes like “Health Is Wealth” “Operation Be Great Together Is In Session” and “Don’t Stop Grinding” all selected and hand-written by the comedian/actor.
Hart’s workout routine is no laughing matter (you can check out Hart breaking a sweat here). His daily routine includes heavy ropes, hanging leg raises and kettlebell sit ups.
The funny man initially revealed the “Hustle Harts” as a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. He joked that the company told him he’s “bridging the gap between professional athlete and person that doesn’t understand there’s an athlete in them”.
Standing on the SNL alum’s desk, Hart announced “I’m the first actor/entertainer to get a cross training shoe cuz THAT”S WHAT I DO!” I’m exhausted just thinking about Kevin Hart’s schedule, but I must admit the kicks don’t look half bad. Check out the funny guy showing off his fancy footwork and giving fans a sneak peek of the shoes below:
