My brothers, put this stuff into perspective.

Screw the millionaire status. Obsessing over that will only intimidate you from getting started improving your financial life at all.

What about setting your sights on making that first 60k a year? Then 70? Then 100? Then 250k?

A million dollars a year is hefty, but don't get so caught up in that number and forget you could be eating quite well even at a tenth of that.
This. Especially if you live in a small city. $100k in some areas still awards you some of the same perks of being a millionaire in a big city like NYC.

Not just that, working hard for 100k gives you the blueprint to multiply that ten fold. The best advice I ever got about stacking bread is that poor people stack by "addition", rich people stack by "multiplication".

"Multiplication" in the form of group effort.

Very dope sequence of post.

People shouldn't even be thinking about a Mill until they can clear at least six figures, Millions very rarely happen over night.

I love when Coli brehs share gems with each other.

My college roommate had a brother who graduated 5 years before us. He worked as a engineer designing computer chips for a year and a half. Then he said, "fukk it, I can do this better than them." He started his own company and ran it for just over three years. At that point he sold the company to one of the major chip manufacturers for $150 million.

That's $150 million just 5 years out of college on a company you started yourself with almost no experience. :wow:

He worked for them for something like 2 years (a contract stipulated in the sale), then left and started his own company again.

I ain't about chasing money at all, but some people are good at it. :yeshrug:
you said he thought to himself. I'm better than them at making computer chips? do you know or understand how smart this man is? like 1% of the population smart. which makes sense that he ends up in the 1% of money makers. what i dont like is for dummies to be in that 1% while other above average to smart people are in the 99% class. dude is basically lebron/kobe of computer chips. he deserves the ridiculous doe he got and then some.

Not 1% of the population smart. Probably 0.1%.

you don't need to be a millionaire, you just need to be financially independent
that's going to depend on where you live
