Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
I’m not the only one. According to a report published by the CDC last year, one in five adult Americans has chronic pain. The same study found that chronic pain impacts more women than men. Countless women, especially women of color, have said they struggle to get doctors to believe their pain and treat it accordingly. For me, it was four years after my symptoms started that I finally heard the word endometriosis.

Never realized there were so many :flabbynsick: individuals

Breh I got Crohns that shyt is no joke. I also have sickle cell trait, and that shyt can make your joints hurt but not as bad as the disease will

Just be glad you don’t have to worry about that and hope you don’t develop something. Genetics are really a crapshoot

I feel sorry for these people. Honestly, we need to just hunt them down and put them out of their misery, for the greater good.

I have cerebral palsy & scoliosis and I exercise every week. Even though my back gives me grief I always have to remember that things can always be worse.

As far as working somebody job and doing manual labor, forget it... These jobs don't do right by people anymore and I ain't in the type of shape to work a 9-5.

At some point pills stopped working so my floor of pain raised to the point where if a certain part didn’t have as much pain in a day it felt weightless (very similar to how you get used to a “heavy watch on your wrist)

I live with chronic pain too. What really sucks is NOBODY BELIEVES ME because i look okay/ "good". Doctors, randoms, nobody believes me, and it's a hereditary illness! I'm not making shyt up, i got historical and current (1st cousins) receipts.
