thecoli makes me believe a lot of y'all see white people as mythical beings that you need to be scared of.

They are just your trainers put on your poker face and keep it pushing. Imagine passing on a 130k job because your scared of 2 white men.

And even if you did that job for like 6 months, it could’ve been a salary stepping stone until the next spot.

I do get that it can be weird being one of the few of your “race” to do something.. been there before. Wasn’t there long, but helped me move on to the next which was a job outside of the US.

As black men we have to get over this. MLK, Malcolm, John Lewis, Rosa Parks and all our other Civil Rights activists fought so we can have these high paying jobs.

It doesn't hurt to try something then leave for other opportunities if it doesn't work out.

I feel this, I left a position where I made 90k working half the year to one where I work Monday to Friday 99percent of the time by myself.

Sometimes I miss my old schedule but I just couldn’t relax around them folks.
