Savate is pretty dope too. Less rugged than Muay Thai, but that pinpoint accuracy with those kicks is a thing of beauty :banderas:

Yeah Savate is made to fight with shoes on. Got way more footwork and I think it's a problem for Thai fighters because of how they move

Edit: Most fights I seen Savate vs Muay Thai, there are rules limiting Thai fighters :patrice:

I took my Thai two years ago right before the pandemic and it kicked my ass (no pun) the first couple of times lol.

I need to get back into it now that everything is opened up.

I'm saying I'd rather Judo/Wrestling over Bjj as a grapple option

MT >>>>>> BJJ :mjpls::mjpls::mjpls:

Learn em all

judo and wrestling aint grappling, learn that bjj too to be well rounded otherwise you aint gonna be able to defend against much when you get a mf to the ground unless it's some random fukk on the street who doesnt train.

recently at my bjj gym afew beastly wrestlers started coming to class, one even knew judo as well. they were def better standing up, along with insane top pressure once we were on the ground but i just keep tapping them all once we get to the ground because they haven't honed that BJJ part of their game yet. Hell i even tapped one standing up with the guillotine choke that you wont learn just wrestling and with judo

When they do get that BJJ up though :damn: :damn:
