I love the NFL as much as anyone, but the coverage of the combine is excessive.

Everyone on twitter is suddenly a draft expert now too. Becoming over saturated imo.

The NFL Network was built around the Combine, it was the first exclusive programming they had the rights to.

I'm not saying dont watch it....but having like 10 guys there from the network covering it....I couldnt help but laugh. They're running around cones.

Never understood why the combine could make a player drop or rise in the standings. If you've watched the tape of a player during the actually game and their playing well why would they suck because they don't run around cones as well as another player

NFL's emphasis on athleticism.
Hard to separate players so things like this take greater importance.

Can't judge everyone on film because systems and competition is so different. This is the most "fair" or even proving ground to judge players on.
