I remember renting sega genesis games and trying to read the instruction manual in the backseat in the dark so I could get home and start playing right away

yeah i miss jacking their games and dvds with my brother 
i used to rent so many games at blockbuster. a lot of them you had to return back because they didn't work
there's still a family video here in dallas which is exactly like blockbuster. i go there sometimes to rent the new releases because netflix or redbox doesn't get them right away. they rent games there too

There use to be a mom and pop video store a few years ago that would let you rent movies before they where released 
They would always be out of the game I wanted
