I Miss The Days Of Seeing Disc Jockey in The Mall

We had a Disc Jockey and Camelot Music in the mall

I would spend every penny my parents gave me there. That smell when you walked in It was the Grateful Dead incense they sold

My parents would give me my allowance and I would be like "just drop me off at the mall"

They had a little area where you could listen to albums before you bought it and I would post there and plan my purchases

After FYE bought out Camelot music and Disc Jockey in 2001 the whole music industry changed

I miss those days too...


seems like eons ago even though I remember it like yesterday.

a world that now only exists in our memories, pictures, movies, music, and Tv shows.

I remember when damn near everything turned into an FYE before most record stores went out of business.
